1982-93: Dune restoration
1994:
2,600,000 cy placed along 3.2 miles from an offshore source (right). Funded through local taxing district.
1995:
Construction of sand tube groin field at south end of fill.
2002:
2,000,000 cy beach renourishment project


2005: Construction of 1500-ft terminal groin and 300-ft detached rock breakwater at south end of island (left).

Atlantis, Paradise Island (Nassau), Bahamas

1997: Stabilize existing Phase I lagoon beach (left).
1994: Create new 6,000 c.y., 400-ft resort beach
within recreational lagoon.
1999: Repair severe coastal damage from Hurr.
Floyd, including dune reconstruction, buried rock revetments,and 100,000+ c.y. beach fill.
 

2000: Seawall relocation and beach rehabilitation along Ocean Club golf course
2000: Remove Structures and seawall, and restore Pirates Cove Beach (right)
2004-05: Beach protection along Phase III shoreline

Bald Head Island, North Carolina

1982-93: Feasibility study, conceptual design of stabilizing groin field, technical liaison with Corps of Engineers for beach disposal of maintenance dredged material.
2001: Coordination for 1,600,000 c.y. beach disposal of sand dredged from deepening of Wilmington Harbor federal navigation channel.
2004: Coordination for 1,500,000 c.y. beach disposal from maintenance of Federal navigation channel.
2005: Develop plan for locally constructed beach fill; design groin field consisting of 16 sand filled tubes. (right)
2006: Engineering for beach disposal project from Bald Head creek.

Baldwin County, Alabama

2002-05: Engineering study, design, permitting, Engineer of Record and construction management for 6,000,000 c.y. beach restoration project constructed along 15.5 miles of shorefront (below). Co-funded by State and local governments

Client: Cities of Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and Alabama Department of Natural Resources.
Brevard County, Florida

1989: Feasibility study for beach restoration. Sand source
investigation along 26-miles of shoreline. Reverse prior unfavorable findings of Corps of Engineers regarding beach nourishment feasibility.
1997-2003: Permitting, easement acquisition, development of two offshore sand borrow areas and a nearshore sand re-handling area, technical liaison with Corps of Engineers & Minerals Management Service for construction of 4,500,000 cy nourishment along 14 miles, Brevard County County Federal Shore Protection Project. 2004-05: Emergency fast-track design, monitoring and construction review for post-hurricane renourishment; 1,500,000 cy along 10 miles.
